Admission Requirements & Procedure

At Asian College of Teachers, we provide customized courses as per the changing needs of today’s adult learners where every subject is developed keeping the market needs and requirements in mind. The online courses offered are also easy to pursue due to the flexible timetable which suits almost every lifestyle. Recent studies show that students are increasingly preferring online learning over on-campus study due to a host of reasons, one among them being that they can easily get the opportunity to study abroad remotely, from their home, without the need to be physically present in that particular campus!
We at ACT do understand that every adult student's profile and requirements are not similar, hence there is a need for customized courses. We consider each case individually and guide every applicant accordingly. You can contact us to get your queries resolved directly.
Kindly note that visa and immigration services are not provided by ACT, as all our distance learning degree programs can be pursued from your home, without the need to travel anywhere.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in any field or equivalent level for Master Degree and Doctorate programs
- Must have a High School Diploma with Subjects: English, Math and Humanities for Bachelor’s degree programs
- Life Experience and prior learning credits are available
- English Level – IELTS Level 5.0 or High School study of all subjects in English or at least 50% marks in English in your High School is desired
- Knowledge of Internet browsing, MS Word
- Recognized Bachelor’s Degree in any field or equivalent level
- Life Experience and prior learning credits are available
- English Level – IELTS Level 5.0 or High School study of all subjects in English or at least 55% marks in English in your High School is desired
- Knowledge of Internet and browsing, MS Word and Online Research Skill is required
Procedures
Application for Admission
First, students are required to fill out our online application. Our Admission team will get in touch with you for further details. You will receive the ADMISSION APPLICATION link which needs to filled and sent back to us along with detailed curriculum vitae or resume, and any other relevant additional documents.
Upon receipt of the student information, ACT will issue an email comprising of all the details of admission for the students with a processing time of 2 business days – it comprises of the number of credits transferred from his/her previous education, the credits (and courses) that he/she is required to earn for the online learning degree program, and the required tuition fee to be paid.

Formal Enrollment
For students interested to register with ACT’s online learning degree programs affiliated to European International University, (EIU-Paris), they need to deposit the corresponding tuition payment as per their payment plan. Abiding by the Consumer Protection Act, ACT will issue a program cancellation and refund policy for all its candidates after enrolment.
After payment confirmation, the student will be formally registered as a student of Asian College of Teachers (ACT) and will also get listed in the European International University (EIU-Paris) verification portal as a student. For each student, ACT determines the academic work assignments and online content that are required for the student to earn the credits to complete the online learning degree program that they have enrolled for.

I was looking for a master’s to enhance my teaching career as well as gain an internationally recognised degree that’s affordable, flexible and manageable when I chanced upon Asian College of Teachers. I really enjoyed this program.This program is tailored in a way that suited me perfectly. I am a high school teacher and with this flexible program I was able to complete all the assignments at my own time and pace. The staff at ACT and EIU were especially helpful and they guided me through the program. I have completed my PG Diploma in TEFL/TESOL and continued my Master's with specialization in Educational Administration with ACT and EIU. My learning experiences with ACT have been phenomenal. I have been well guided by my instructors at all times and it has been a pleasure to be an alumni of this institute. After my PG Diploma I was appointed as an English teacher at a school I have been trying for many years and within 3 years of working I was promoted to the Head of the English Department as soon as I completed my Master's. The knowledge I have gained through these programs have been very helpful in my career and my creativity as a teacher and now a team leader. I am planning to continue my Doctorate at the same institute but still looking for guidance as to which field to take... But will start very soon.
It was a great experience taking up this course. Initially, I was skeptical about taking the course given my situation having a one year old kid to take care of along with my household chores and office work. When I started this course, I was not even sure if I would be able to make it. But then the course materials were very easy to follow and with the feedback on each assignment given by the course instructor I was able to complete the course with a first class grade. This course was structured very well and real time examples in each module helped me understand things better. For an aspiring teacher like me, this course was really useful. It helped me understand the future of education and teaching.
My learning experience in ACT/European International University has been excellent. The skills from this course are really valuable, it was great to be part of this course. I plan to complete Master of Arts in Education with SEND soon with ACT/EIU.
