Admission to the Master in Education with Pre and Primary Teaching is open to students from all disciplines.
- Recognised Bachelor’s Degree in any field or equivalent level
- Life Experience and prior learning credits are available
- English Level – IELTS Level 5.0 or High School study of all subjects in English or at least 55% marks in English in your High School is desired
- Knowledge of Internet and browsing, MS Word and Online Research Skill is desired

All our Master’s programs under Faculty of Education have four distinct parts:
- Part One – Foundation Course which comprises of 10 credits and 2 Subjects
- Part Two – Core Program comes with 30 credits and 6 Subjects
- Part Three – Specialization of Subjects comes with 20 credits divided into 4 Specialized Subjects
- Part Four – Capstone Project which is a reflective research work comprises of 30 credits
To receive a Master’s degree, the student must achieve the following:
- Complete and successfully pass Foundation, Core and Specialization as prescribed in the program specification.
- Obtain a score of 50% and above to satisfactorily pass each subject
- Complete the full program of study in a minimum duration of 12 months, and a maximum duration of up to 24 months. However, those unable to complete the program within the stipulated time will be given a grace period of 1 year and the student would be required to pay a maintenance bench fee to finish his/her degree within that grace period.
- Students can attend 6 Live Online Webinar Sessions during the entire program from expert teachers at no additional cost.

Fees include all: Program of study, LMS access, study guide, evaluation and assessment, diploma and transcript. Courier charges apply for Diploma and Transcript dispatch to your country. Degree and Transcript are issued by The European International University, Paris and a program participation letter is given by Asian College of Teachers.
Certification
- All degrees will be conferred by The European International University (EIU– Paris).
- Students will also receive a letter of Completion from Asian College of Teachers (ACT).
- European International University is a private higher education establishment authorized by the French Ministry of National Education, Higher Education, Research, and Innovation, in accordance to and in compliance with the French Education Act: Code de l’Education Articles L 444-1 to 444-11 and R 444-1 to 444-28.
Career Opportunities
If you have a zeal towards teaching young learners, consider this program and the route of pre and primary teaching. Pre and primary teaching allows you to connect with learners aged 2-12 years, to support and help in their learning and to mentor them to succeed both in and outside the classrooms while providing you with the scope to help them prepare for secondary education.
An advanced certification in pre and primary teaching prepares you to work with kids up to around age 12 (sixth grade). A master's degree in this field can open up a sea of opportunities in teaching, coordination and leadership roles in primary and elementary schools in private and public settings. Successful completion of the program also ensures a career as teacher educators, preparing others to work within this field.
The certification will benefit and qualify you for a job as a coordinator or an administrator of a primary school, performing administrative jobs. Pre-primary and primary school administrators can also opt to take on managerial roles within the facility and create curriculums, train teachers, manage staff members and complete necessary reports.
With some experience, you can serve as a curriculum director, setting educational standards and designing age-appropriate curriculum, primary school heads - designing school’s aims and objectives, developing creative approaches to teaching and learning, executing effective curriculum and assessment framework.
Scholarships
Asian College of Teachers offers tuition scholarships and financial aid for its online learning degree programs. The tuition scholarship fund for distance learning degree programs will be granted depending on the policy and the Dean’s office from time to time. Upon request, ACT may offer you: Academic Scholarship, Athletic Scholarship, Creative Scholarships and Community Service Scholarship

It was a great experience taking up this course. Initially, I was skeptical about taking the course given my situation having a one year old kid to take care of along with my household chores and office work. When I started this course, I was not even sure if I would be able to make it. But then the course materials were very easy to follow and with the feedback on each assignment given by the course instructor I was able to complete the course with a first class grade. This course was structured very well and real time examples in each module helped me understand things better. For an aspiring teacher like me, this course was really useful. It helped me understand the future of education and teaching.
