Alumni – Asian College of Teachers (ACT)

We, at Asian College of Teachers, put a lot of emphasis on student feedback as we believe that it not only helps to improve the quality of education imparted but provides an insight into the dynamics of learning, gives a direction towards sound quality assurance process and helps in the assessment of other areas of administration. Above all, our alumni feedback is extremely beneficial for our future students.

It was an excellent experience. At first, I was a bit timid but after I register and paid, I decided to give it my best shot. The online course was loaded with good content material that I could have relate to. The webinar with other professionals was very helpful and an eye opener. The lecturers during the webinars had lot of experience and delivered good relevant information. The assignments were really challenging but also engaging. I actually really enjoyed my experience.

My experience pursuing a B Ed in TESOL online with the Asian College of Teachers was uniquely insightful. The program provided a comprehensive understanding of teaching English to speakers of other languages, offering flexibility to manage my schedule effectively. While the online format allowed for communication, a more interactive platform for discussions with peers and teachers could have enhanced the overall experience. Nevertheless, I appreciate the dedicated faculty's support, and the program has equipped me with valuable skills for my future in TESOL.

I applied for Doctorate program in leadership/learning development The pre admission support was very nice, to the point, and quick. The on the ground program followed the exact trajectory of the plan. The guide was very professional and over all review feedback during literature, design, data analysis was much higher then what I expected. The documentation feedback was also very elaborate. Thanks for all support. I appreciate and recommend.

I totally desired to undertake this program. It was financially exhausting due to the high foreign exchange rates in my country (Nigeria). However, it was worth it. I would have loved to have interactions with my course mates, but, I think working individually promoted an independent spirit. I would also add that the program has helped me improve on my writing skills, knowledge bank and confidence.

I was looking for a master’s to enhance my teaching career as well as gain an internationally recognised degree that’s affordable, flexible and manageable when I chanced upon Asian College of Teachers. I really enjoyed this program. This program is tailored in a way that suited me perfectly. I am a high school teacher and with this flexible program I was able to complete all the assignments at my own time and pace. The staff at ACT and EIU were especially helpful and they guided me through the program. I am indeed indebted to ACT, EIU and the staff for giving me this learning opportunity, assistance and support to earn myself a master’s degree while I was working!

I have completed my PG Diploma in TEFL/TESOL and continued my Master's with specialization in Educational Administration with ACT and EIU. My learning experiences with ACT have been phenomenal. I have been well guided by my instructors at all times and it has been a pleasure to be an alumni of this institute. After my PG Diploma I was appointed as an English teacher at a school I have been trying for many years and within 3 years of working I was promoted to the Head of the English Department as soon as I completed my Master's. The knowledge I have gained through these programs have been very helpful in my career and my creativity as a teacher and now a team leader. I am planning to continue my Doctorate at the same institute but still looking for guidance as to which field to take... But will start very soon.

It was a great experience taking up this course. Initially, I was skeptical about taking the course given my situation having a one year old kid to take care of along with my household chores and office work. When I started this course, I was not even sure if I would be able to make it. But then the course materials were very easy to follow and with the feedback on each assignment given by the course instructor I was able to complete the course with a first class grade. This course was structured very well and real time examples in each module helped me understand things better. For an aspiring teacher like me, this course was really useful. It helped me understand the future of education and teaching.

Asian College of Teachers (ACT) undertakes a continuous review of its teacher training courses to ensure imparting high quality education. However, there might be circumstances outside of ACT’s control which might affect its stakeholders like if you are planning to teach in a different country, applying for a teaching license, pursuing higher studies or trying to get the certificate approved by the Ministry of Education (MoE) of a particular country then you can do so with the certificate issued by the University. However, each country’s Ministry of Education (MoE) or educational bodies set certain standards that are indispensable for the pursuit of higher studies or teaching in schools in that country. So it can be a possibility that you may be able to use the certificate for higher studies or teaching purposes in one country and not in another. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you investigate thoroughly and check with the relevant authorities regarding the acceptance of the certificate issued by us before you enrol on a particular course. ACT strives to offer high-quality education and the certificates issued by the University can be valuable for various purposes internationally, but still it is crucial for individuals to verify the specific recognition of the certificate in the country they intend to use it, especially for formal education or professional licensing purposes. This approach ensures that the stakeholders make informed decisions regarding their educational and career paths.
